Trout In The Classroom
Trout in the Classroom is a conservation-oriented environmental education program for elementary, middle, and high school students.
Through the school year, students raise trout from eggs to fry and then release them into approved cold water streams and lakes. This act of raising, monitoring, and caring for young trout fosters a conservation ethic within participating students and promotes an understanding of their shared water resources.

GTU Youth Outing
Gateway Trout Unlimited hosts an annual Spring and Fall Youth Outing at Westover Farms in Steelville, MO.
This is a great opportunity for GTU members to bring friends and family under the age of 16 to learn how to fly fish. GTU provides guides, a BBQ and all equipment/flies. The cost is $25 per youth.
Our Stream Team is also in attendance showing the kids the abundant bug life. This is a fun day!
