Gateway Trout Unlimited has been fortunate to have the financial support of local membership and businesses. Without their generosity, we would not be able to operate and fund conservation projects. Below are some of the generous donors who have both helped GTU get started as well as thrive into future generations. Monetary donations along with goods and services we have used at fundraising events have been essential in making sure our chapter is financially stable.

Warren, Russell Rusty A. (1965 - 2019) was born in St. Louis, MO and graduated from Lindbergh High School, St. Louis University and the St. Louis University Law School. He was a practicing attorney in both Missouri and Illinois. Rusty was an avid scuba diver, having dived throughout the United States as well as abroad. He was also an excellent scuba diver instructor. He loved the outdoors, especially the art of fly fishing, camping and canoeing. He also enjoyed golfing, gardening and (like his father) was an excellent craftsman. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank A. Warren, and is survived by his mother, Edna A. Warren (nee Vogel), aunts, uncles, cousins, and his dear friend and love of his life, Janice Davidse.
Russell wanted cold water conservation efforts in the state of Missouri to continue. His trust gifted Gateway Trout Unlimited with a generous donation to allow our chapter to continue those conservation efforts for future generations. |
