GTU hosts events throughout the year for like minded individuals to come together. Most events are open to the public, so if you have a friend that is not a member of GTU, please invite them to one of our events. Listed below are upcoming events. Once we get additional information, a link will be provided for details.

Membership Meetings

GTU hosts at least four Membership Meetings annually. We bring in speakers from all over to speak on fishing, conservation and more. It is a great opportunity to network with other members and see how you can get involved on the next project or maybe just meet a new person and plan a fishing trip. Meetings have been hosted at Mike Duffy's in Kirkwood.

Keep an eye on the calendar for the next meeting. They are the third Thursday of the month that we have a meeting set up.

IF4 Film Tour

For the last three years, Gateway Trout Unlimited has hosted the IF4 (International Fly Fishing Film Festival) at the Tivoli in U City.

This is a great night featuring films from international locations. Tickets are sold online, at T Hargroves and Feather-Craft.

Brews for Browns

Brews for Browns is a fund raising event held at Hammerstone's (http://hammerstones.net/) in Soulard. The goal of the event was to raise funds for the Meramec River Telemetry Study. We are proud to say that this event was an integral part of completely funding the project. This is a fun night of fellowship, great food and drink.

Fill The Boat Food Drive

Gateway Trout Unlimited teams up with the Troutbusters (https://www.troutbusters.org/) at events to collect food for the Jefferson Barracks Food Bank. Their food bank is only open when there are items to give and is runs 100% on donations from the public.
