YOUTH EVENT - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

Our spring Youth Event at Westover Farms sold out quick, but we are still in need of volunteers for the day. Volunteers will be helping the youth participants catch fish. GTU supplies the rods, reels, flies and lunch is provided for both youth participants and volunteers.

The date is Saturday, April 3rd from 9am-3pm.

BENNETT SPRINGS VETERAN EVENT - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

Bennett Springs is having their annual Veteran Event on Saturday April 17, 2021. If you are a veteran, there is no tag or license fee and can fish in any zone of the stream. There is also a special area of Zone 2 Reserved for Veteran's Only. Pick up your free Veteran's Fishing Day Tage at the Park Store.

GTU will be at the park helping out. We are in need of a few volunteers. Volunteers are needed to tie flies, perform casting demos and help vets catch fish.  To volunteer or ask a question about this event, please email: [email protected]:

Driftless Meeting Replay

The three chapters of TU in Missouri: Mid-Missouri Chapter, Gateway Chapter (St. Louis area) and MoKan Chapter (Kansas City area) got together for a joint zoom meeting earlier this month. The guest speaker was Duke Welter from Wisconsin who talked about the Driftless area.

Close to 80 participants from all over Missouri joined the presentation.
